Pilates was developed in the 1920s by Joseph Pilates as a method to build strength, flexibility, and control. This practice emphasises the importance of stability muscles to create efficient, balanced movement through repetition and a strong mind-body connection.
“Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit.” – Joseph Pilates
Modern Clinical Pilates integrates Joseph Pilates’ original exercises with up-to-date research on core stability and injury prevention. By focusing on the ‘core’ and addressing muscle imbalances, Clinical Pilates helps prevent injury, relieve pain, and improve overall physical function.
Whether for rehabilitation, fitness, or fun, Clinical Pilates offers a safe and effective workout tailored to your individual needs.
These group sessions deliver a full-body workout tailored to beginner, open, or intermediate levels. Small props such as rollers, therabands, dowel, pilates circle, pilates soft ball, weighted ball, sliding discs, and swiss balls are often used to enhance the exercises. 10 person group.
